Remember the good old days of . . . <checks notes> . . . 2008-2014 when I used to blog regularly about early printed books and teaching at Wynken de Worde and The Collation? That was fun, right? Well now I’ll be doing that again, only this time in the form of a newsletter called Early Printed Fun!
I’m going to be using Substack to power a regular newsletter about early printed materials, focusing on the weird, fun, and teachable. (How regular is regular, you ask? That’s part of what I’m trying to figure out. Let’s say twice a month. I don’t want to overwhelm you, but I don’t want to underwhelm you, either.)
Why a newsletter instead of a blog? I’m using Substack because it’s easy to sign up, you’ll get posts delivered right to your mailbox, and if things go well, I can introduce a paid subscription option for folks who want to get extra posts. (I love making everything I do open access, but I also love making enough money to cover my expenses while doing it.)
For now, though, please sign up, enjoy the posts, and tell your friends!
